Heth's Run
Sculpture Park
We organize a valley into an arts and sculpture park that is also a critical piece of the city’s water infrastructure. The sculpture park follows a set of form logics that responds to the immediate site context and water amount.
A large reservoir is located at the lower end of the park, which stores most amount of water and allows run-offs, mainly to the upper side towards Allegheny River, controlled by the dam. The water density and form logic unit dispersion are gradient throughout the site to regulate different environmental conditions.
There are multiple entrances onto the site. The architecture buildings on the site serves as vertical circulation cores for visitors.
